The Importance of Orientation & Mobility for children and young people with Usher Syndrome

Jess is an Orientation & Mobility Specialist with Guide Dogs Queensland.  She is currently providing supports to two of our UsherKids families and is passionate about ensure children have early access to Orientation & Mobility skills to develop safety and independent travel skills from an early age.  In this webinar, Jess explains what exactly is O&M, who can provide it and what early skill development looks like for a child with Usher syndrome.  She is an advocate for introducing skills early, even in children with no obvious signs of vision loss.

UsherKids Australia is proud to be a member

and active contributor to these organisations
