We are thrilled to extend an invitation to you to become a vital part of the Australian Childhood Deafness Research Community Advisory Group (AusChildDeafness-CAG). This initiative is a crucial component of ANCHOR (Australian National Childhood Hearing Health Outcomes Registry), with dedicated funding aimed at establishing a robust platform for ongoing collaboration and advisory in the realm of childhood deafness research.

The AusChildDeafness-CAG is not just another group—it’s a national forum designed to bring together young people up to 26 years old and family members of children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Our primary goal is to facilitate collaboration and provide insights to researchers working on various projects related to childhood deafness.

Why is this important? Because we believe in influencing Australia’s research agenda to ensure that the work being done remains relevant and impactful for deaf or hard of hearing children and young people, as well as their families. By being a part of this advisory group, you have the opportunity to shape the direction of research and contribute to meaningful outcomes.

We are excited to announce that applications for the AusChildDeafness-CAG are now open! We invite you to share this opportunity with young people who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as families who have a child in this category.
